How To Install An AOV Mardome Smoke Vent Dome On A PVC Kerb
Step by Step Installation Guide

Apply Mastic/Silicone
Apply mastic/silicone around the edge of the roof opening.

Place Kerb Over Roof Opening
With the hinges facing upslope, place kerb squarely over the roof opening.

Insert Kerb Fasteners
Insert 55mm kerb fasteners through 6x pre-drilled holes. The screw heads must push against the metal plate under the foot of the kerb.

Fix Kerb to Roof
Remove the label and retain it.
Fix the kerb to roof using 55mm kerb fasteners. Ensure to check the fixing quantities table on the printed Technical Bulletin on the Installation Guide.

Wind Deflectors (If Required)
If wind deflectors are to be fitted, follow steps 1 to 5 on Page 4 before roof covering installation.

Install Roof Covering
Install roof covering according to manufacturer's installation recommendations. Fit roof covering using instructions on kerb label.
NEVER apply direct heat or naked flame to the rooflight.
Terminate roof covering in accordance with instructions on retained kerb label.

Wind Deflectors (If Required)
If wind deflectors have been fitted, follow Step 7 on Page 4 before connecting electrics.

Connect Electrics
Connect electrics (see Wiring Instructions and Control System, page 3). This should only be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

The completed AOV Mardome Smoke Vent comes with a 10 year warranty, while providing natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation to your space.
