Skyseal Fixed Aluminium Rooflight

Our Skyseal Flat Glass Fixed Rooflight offers a competitively priced glass roof light without compromising quality. Offered in a range of sizes, the Skyseal Flat Glass roof light is available on a 2-3 working day lead time* and boasts a superb part ‘L’ compliance.

Minimalist Design

The sleek contemporary design achieves maximum daylight due to the minimalistic framework finish, which is barely visible from the internal of the building. These units are very easy to install and require very little maintenance, other than periodic cleaning.

Thermally Efficient

With a centre pane U-value of 1.1 W/m2K, the Skyseal Flat Glass is one of the most thermally efficient double glazed roof lights in the market that includes an inner pane of annealed, laminated safety glass.

Glass Spec: 32.4mm Overall (1.1 W/m2K):

  • 6mm toughened outer

  • 20mm 90% Argon filled cavity

  • 6.4 mm laminated soft coat Low E inner

Strong Aluminium Frame

Our Skyseal flat glass range features a highly-developed aluminum frame that provides extra strength and rigidity, minimising structural movement in the skylight once installed and providing extra glass support.

The frame acts as a protective layer, encapsulating the glass at its weakest points to prevent accidental damage that would otherwise shatter the glass. With tamper-proof fixings accompanied by a strong silicone sealant, the security of your home will be enhanced.

Easy & Quick to Install

The Skyseal Glass Rooflight can be installed on a minimum 5° fall and offers a universal daylight solution for both residential and commercial projects.

Install this rooflight onto your prepared upstand or purchase a 150mm PVC kerb for a super quick and easy installation.

Questions & Answers (7)

How do I choose the correct size Glass skylight?

For glass units without upstand: Match your timber upstand's outside edge measurement to the skylight size (e.g., 900mm skylight needs 900mm upstand measurement). For glass units with UPVc upstand: Match the roof opening size exactly to the skylight size (e.g., 750mm skylight needs 750mm roof opening).

What is the recommended pitch for a Flat Glass roof light?

We recommend a minimum 5 degrees pitch to allow water to run off and prevent pooling on your new skylight. This can be achieved by creating a height difference in the pre-installed upstand.

Will the Skyseal Flat Glass roof light make my room cold?

The Skyseal Flat Glass uses a 24mm double glazed pane of glass which has a U-value of 1.1 W/m²K. The overall U-value of the skylight is 1.25 W/m²K. This should ensure that the heat stays in and the cold stays out.
