How To Install A Mardome Trade Powered Opening Dome on A PVC Kerb

Apply mastic/silicone around the edge of the roof opening.

Feed the power cable through the roof cavity, ensuring the cable is not crushed or damaged.

With the hinges facing upslope, place kerb squarely over the roof opening.

Remove the label and retain it.

Fix the kerb to roof using 55mm kerb fasteners. Ensure to check the fixing quantities table on the printed Technical Bulletin on the Installation Guide.

Install roof covering according to manufacturer's installation recommendations. Fit roof covering using instructions on kerb label.

NEVER apply direct heat or naked flame to the rooflight.

Terminate roof covering in accordance with instructions on retained kerb label.

Place dome squarely on top of secured kerb.

Ensure there is equal overhang on all sides.

Fix the dome to the kerb. Use the supplied dome fasteners through the metal washers (if supplied) and the pre-fitted fastener buttons.

Fix ONLY through pre-fitted buttons.

Fit the fastener caps over the screws by gently pressing them into the fastener buttons.

Connect electrics (see diagrams on pages 3 and 4). This should only be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

The completed Mardome Trade Dome comes with a 10 year warranty and provides high security to your home.
